If you’re not into chemicals or plastics when it comes to your camping toilet then there are some other solutions on the market that are worth considering. We’ve not had the chance to test either of them but any of you out there with experiences let us know :)

Flat packing…


Despite its name, the S?”! Box, is actually a really neat idea. It’s basically a flat-pack camping toilet with bio-degradable bags for the waste. Its probably more suited to festivals or for those of you who are not planning on a longer term solution. The kid versions means it definitely gets the cool factor. They are manufactured by The Brown Corporation and Firebox has them in stock for under £15 at the mo!

Folding…

Another camping toilet which doesn’t use chemicals is the rather cool named Bio Toi. Apparently it was designed with the Norwegian Army and NATO (whatever that means!). If the pix are anything to go by they the design looks pretty comfortable even though its a fold away.
